Triathlon Added To ICSE Coaching Course

Attention all Triathlon Coaches! ICSE, the institute of Coaching and Sport Education located at Semmelweis Univerity Faculty of Phycial Education and Sport Sciences in Budapest, Hungary has just announced that Triathlon has been accepted as a
new sport in the International Coaching Course for March to June 2006

The ICSE centre in Budapest is the official Coaching Education Centre of the IOC Olympic Solidarity and is a member of the International Council for Coach Education.

The International Coaching Course in Triathlon will be an exciting opportunity for coaches from around the world to further their expertise in coaching practice.

The course involves theory, practical, and technical training in sport-specific and general coaching education. The course is provided in English and is open to Triathlon coaches from around the world.

History of the ICC: The first International Coaching Course organised by ICSE was held in 1971. Since the establishment of the Course, 1200 participants from more than 80 countries and all continents of the world received their education and certificate at the Semmelweis University. As a result of the long time activity in international coaching education the Course has been recognised by the International Olympic Committee and the applicants of the course may apply for I.O.C. Olympic Solidarity scholarship which covers the costs of their studies.
